​After I wrote my first book, as a Published Author, it became easy to get media interviews. Now whenever I want to promote a new product or grow my email list, I send out a few quick emails and get booked on live radio shows and podcasts.  

In fact, only two months after I published my first book, I was asked to be the Health & Fitness expert on an award winning radio show. I went live every month on the award-wining The Queen Silvy Show now with over 3.5 million listeners.

Then once I got my name out there, interviews and speaking requests started coming to me. Instead of the other way around.

One day, I was talking to someone from one of my Mastermind groups. This woman owns her own successful health and fitness business yet she didn't seem confident that she could write a book.

After we got to talking a bit, she realized, with all the articles she's written, she might have already written her first book.

And you know what?

There was a time (not so long ago) that I felt exactly the same way. I had wanted to write a book for years. But I just didn't know where to begin.

Publishing a book seemed complicated. I kept hearing how hard it is to get published. That you need to brace yourself for rejection. 

Which only discouraged me more. 

But here's the reality of publishing a book in today's modern times: there has never been a better time to write and publish a book than right now!

​Self-publishing has become a faster and highly respected way of publishing.  

In fact, it's easier to get published now then it's ever been before. 

Once I finally committed to becoming a published author, I set a deadline. Then I wrote, published and sold my first book in only 2 weeks!

The funny thing is, when I started telling people about my book, more people were interested in how I got my book published than they were about my book. That's when it hit me!
